Harkamal is an associate at Mackoff and Company. She is currently a Board member and the Vice President of Membership for the SABABC. She has been involved with SABABC in various roles since she was in law school and she hopes to continue to advance SABABC’s mission for the years to come.
Harkamal practices in the area of insurance defense focusing on motor vehicle accident claims, as well as commercial and civil litigation generally. Prior to joining Mackoff and Company, she had a broad range civil litigation practice. She has experience in areas including general contractual disputes, foreclosure, debt collection, medical malpractice, employment, police conduct matters and commercial disputes involving shareholders and companies. Harkamal has represented clients before both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Harkamal was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2013 after graduating from law school at the University of Victoria in 2012. She also holds a Master of Arts in Asia-Pacific Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. She has briefly worked with the International Service for Human Rights in Geneva.
