Member Spotlight December 2021 – Alisha Parmar

This month’s member spotlight is on member Alisha Parmar.

Called to the Bar in 2015, Alisha is a life-long resident of British Columbia and practises law in the City of Vancouver’s Legal Services department.

Alisha completed an undergraduate degree in economics and law degree at the University of British Columbia. She started her legal career at a boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver where she gained specialized experience in real estate law and advised matters in British Columbia. Alisha then practiced with a leading international law firm before joining the City of Vancouver’s Legal Services department in 2021.

In her spare time, Alisha enjoys mentoring law students and junior lawyers, including through the CBABC Mentorship Program and the First Generation Network. Alisha has been a member of SABABC’s Student and Junior Lawyers Committee and the Scholarship Committee since 2019 and currently sits on SABABC’s board of directors.
