Congratulations to Nina Purewal, QC!

The South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia warmly congratulates Nina Purewal, QC on her appointment as a judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia effective January 31, 2022. She will be assigned to the northern region, initially sitting in Prince George.

Judge Purewal’s appointment is a welcomed announcement, and another step in the right direction of diversifying the judiciary to better reflect the people it serves. Given Judge Purewal’s demonstrated track record, SABABC believes that she will no doubt continue to be advance the interests and rights of minorities.
